Women on Farms Project HAS PLEASURE TO invite you to a Women’s Health Fair!

Celebrate Human Rights Day with us when we focus on the Right to Health. We will be hosting a Women’s Health Fair for women from farms in the Cape Winelands District Municipality .

While the objective of the day is to raise the consciousness of farmwomen about their Right to Health, women will also have the rare opportunity to be pampered with massages, facials and manicures and to learn more about complementary therapies such as meditation, yoga, Thai-Chi and aromatherapy.

 In 2009, 270 farmwomen participated in the Health Fair. Afterwards, many women reported that they continued to use the new techniques such as Thai-Chi which they had learned. Above all, everyone had fun, was made to feel special for a day and learned that health is a human right.

So, please come and join us!!!

TIME: 10.00 – 16.00 (but feel to drop in for as long as you can!)
